We are on Day 86 of our P90X3 Challenge.  The 30 minute workouts have been awesome!  We are very busy, so these shorter workouts give us more time during the day to do other things.  Since we are just about done with the program, I can honestly recommend this to any fitness level from beginner to the super fit.  Especially recommend this to those who are very busy, and don’t have time to go to the gym or do other workouts that may take an hour or more.

Day 66 of my P90X3 journey.  Eccentric Upper is a little different workout then I’m used to.  In this workout you will workout your chest, shoulders, arms, and back by doing traditional exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, curls, shoulder presses, etc.  The difference is, that Tony Horton has you working on the negative or release of each exercise counting to 3 so that your muscles are working during the release.  He also has you powering up quickly after the 3 count which in turn changes things up.

Getting an awesome workout in with my wife Jasmine.  P90X MMX is an awesome full body martial arts inspired workout.  Tony Horton has you punching, kicking, kneeing, sprawling, and doing other moves to get you  moving!  It’s fun and intense at the same time.  I felt it in my abs the next couple days.

Fun with Jasmine AKA @floridabreeze!! We started the 3rd phase of #p90x3 today. Jasmine is doing exercises from the #decelerator #workout. After the workout I tried a couple things I’ve seen others do on instagram. Nowhere near perfect, but fun to try. :) #fitness #pushups #pullups #x3 #bringit

Great trail run with a couple of my fellow Team Dynasty OCR Elite teammates. This was my first run since the Tampa Special Ops Spartan Race a couple weeks ago. I’ll be getting more runs in to get ready for the Miami Super Spartan in April.

This mornings workout was from P90X3, CVX. Weight training and cardio at the same time. This video shows some of the exercises the workout included. You don’t need a heavy weight to get a good workout in with this one. I am actually used a 10 pound dumbbell for this. I’ve done it with a 12.5 pound weight but I also had to take many breaks. The workout is only 30 minutes long like all the other in P90X3 besides X3 Ab Ripper. I don’t like taking many breaks in that short period of time so 10 pounds was a great choice in my opinion.
